As part of Creative Australia's national fundraising day for the Arts - October 23rd, we are supporting Werribee District Historical Society (WDHS), a volunteer organisation active since1962, and who sadly has been forced to leave their premises. So put Oct 23 in your diary as we report live donations for a 12 hour period. We aim to help set them up in an historic homestead.

Essence and WDHS will collaborate, targetting local community through online marketing, flyers and word of mouth but also be present in broader platforms. Yes WDHS is closely connected to art. They write (periodicals, books, articles) they interpret, they design and build diaoramas, they have important collections of maps, books, photographs and are a vital source for research projects (including some of my plays).

They need a home so help us, help them to set themselves up in a great location, the bluestone manse.
